PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Partnering with Parents to Achieve Immunization Goals: Tools and Strategies to Address Concerns and Dispel Myths was developed to educate participants about how clinicians can overcome barriers to vaccination and effectively communicate to parents the importance of timely and complete immunization. This program looks specifically at ways to address parents’ concerns and questions about vaccines and dispel popular misconceptions, reviews tools and resources that can be shared with parents, and discusses the use of combination vaccines and other strategies for improving compliance with immunization recommendations.

This Web archive is based on an educational program presented to health professionals during the National Immunization Conference in Dallas, Texas, in March 2009. Partnering with Parents to Achieve Immunization Goals: Tools and Strategies to Address Concerns and Dispel Myths is now available on demand through August 2010.

This educational program does not offer Continuing Medical Education (CME) or Continuing Education (CE) credit.
